This page is hidden because it contains email addresses - they’re already public domain because they are email addresses of Parliamentarians, but I just feel a bit awkward about putting them right out there. But here’s my main point…

We need to participate in our political processes. Christians used to do this, but we seem to have stopped playing now, and are just letting the Socialists have the parliament. They’re still playing - hard.
Look at this response from one of the MLC's I contacted recently:
Hi Geoff!
I just want to thank you for taking the time to write to MPs about the ART and Surrogacy Bill 2025!
I’m finding we don’t have nearly enough conservatives writing to MPs (our office has to date received a mere 5 emails from members of the public who are standing against the bill for ethical reasons and the rights of the child; -VERSUS- some 187 emails from left leaning ‘progressive’ folks who feel it’s a good idea!)
If you can mobilise any of the young voters in your sphere of influence to write in to MPs it would go a long way.
I’m realising from this vantage point now that when MPs are themselves on the fence, the letters they receive from voters carry a bunch of weight.
Thank you again for all that you, Sally (and Trinity!) do to help influence minds and hearts.

How to do it?
Here's 2 ways, using the Surrogacy Bill as an example.

2. I emailed all the Upper House Councillors - it didn't take long using this webtool, (it uses AI to help you compose a letter based on the key points you want to emphasise): https://www.acl.org.au/campaigns/we-need-your-help-to-protect-women-and-children-from-ivf-and-surrogacy-reforms/

We may not win, but I don't think we should just let Socialists win. Their naturalistic worldviews propose laws that marginalise Christian morals - worse, impose their morals on us, and wreak carnage on the uninformed. Some of us with Biblical worldviews have to speak up. We need Biblical activists again…

Remember, at WVBites we contrasted the French and American revolutions, showing how Christians worked hard to shape American politics on Biblical principles, to safeguard Biblical freedoms of worship, conscience, assembly, speech. Likewise the founders of Australian Federation knew that only Biblical morals ("natural law," the way the Creator intended) could set good foundations for our political system, to safeguard freedoms to live as we should. - Back then, Christians were active in politics for the good of all.

Today, we need to find such Christian activists again. Not to dominate anyone, but to serve them with our worldview, the only one proven to help everyone thrive, because the Creator's ways work. Judeo-Christian Western history provides the evidence base. Our political current is drifting faster, towards Socialism, self-serving permissiveness, chaotic nationalism. If we Christians do not become active again in the political process, we're letting more carnage happen.

So prayerfully consider being a bit politically active: listen to Jesus about it, and do what he says.
For the sake of many citizens, may there be enough of us who act.
