Core Stuff Intensive
Meanwhile for those interested in doing Boost in the future, in third term we also offer a one-day intensive version of the Core Stuff of the Christian faith. Core Stuff (or similar) is a prerequisite for Boost. It examines the foundations, giving real reasons for faith: God, Bible, problem, Jesus' life teachings, cross, resurrection, Spirit, calling and promise. Be warned, this intensive is pretty tough - all the content from a week-long camp, but without the camp - in one day. But if you're up for it, it has revolutionised lives. Perth-wide Core Stuff intensives open to all can be run. Minimum numbers required. Also may be run at your group or school. Register interest here. |
In an increasingly secularised world, Christian young people need:
1) to be well grounded in their faith
2) to endure and extend with joy in Christ
3) to increase their Christlike influence on the world, both personally and publicly
This requires a pathway and practice to help them follow the Person.
Boost is a series of intensives to clarify that pathway and practice for teens in school years 10-11 (or thereabouts) and their leaders.
