Geoff is a Christian Educator at large with Worldview Australia. He coordinates the curriculum, and teaches Biblical foundations & worldviews at camps, schools, colleges, open lectures, and outreaches across WA.
As an ordained Baptist minister he served churches in South Perth and Craigie in the '80s & '90s, then specialized in outreach, presenting the Good News in Good Ways with OAC Ministries at many schools, church-based events, and adventure camps into the '20s, and now continues similarly with Worldview Australia.
His Core Stuff material which grounds faith in evidences is popular for camps, series and intensives. Other projects, such as Cheers Neighbours' Network, keep people moving closer to Jesus & forward on mission.
Geoff & Sally raised four children born between 2000 & 2004, and live on Perth's suburban fringe on a small bush block, with a menagerie of chickens, parrots, dogs, and a cat. “We have lots of people in our lives so we're very rich indeed.”
Geoff teaches about Jesus: what we know, how we know it, and why it matters. From first-hand experience, science, history, archaeology, & seeing how different believers live out the same Biblical faith, he speaks in ways most Aussies appreciate, and has seen many come to trust Jesus.
“Jesus has more in store for us than we can imagine, so I just try to introduce people to Him.”
The Good News is not new but often comes as news to many. Perhaps it was forgotten, never heard, or misunderstood. So Geoff works to present it as well as possible, by: Shaping presentations to match different contexts, with props, stories, multi-media, straight talk, games, art, Q&A… Series of presentations, giving enough input for an informed decision, at camps, or over a week or weekend; Showing it in his own life, home and neighbourhood.
